PriceRunner.com, a division of ValueClick, Inc. (Nasdaq: VCLK), has today released its 2004 price comparison study which reveals that UK cinema-goers are being ripped off compared to their European counterparts. On average consumers in the UK pay €14.30 for a cinema ticket, whilst in Lithuania the same ticket costs as little as €3.86. The study also reveals that compared to previous studies, home electronics goods in the UK are getting cheaper with digital cameras and iPods amongst the cheapest in Europe. Biscuits from the UK were also found to be the cheapest in Europe!
